Technology and thought leaders make some amazing predictions. Sometimes they come true, but for every “free long distance calling” we get 20 Metaverses. That reminds us, where did we leave our jetpacks?

While we won’t deny that technological miracles are sprouting up every hour, we don’t believe The Man is going to let us off the hook to go play outside while it cures all cancers. Nah, all this magic is destined for a higher purpose: marketing.
